Neil Taylor

Mr. Taylor has over 36 years of experience in all aspects of oil and gas finance, accounting and business development. Most recently, Neil was Chief Financial Officer of Madison PetroGas Ltd., a company focused on oil and gas exploration and production in North and West Africa.
Prior thereto, Mr. Taylor was Chief Financial Officer of Coyote Creek Resources Ltd., a company focused on oil and gas exploration and production in Western Canada.
Mr. Taylor was also the chairman of the board of Axial Exploration LTD, up until successfully acquired by Westlake Energy Group. Mr. Taylor holds a finance degree from the University of Calgary and obtained his Certified Management Accounting designation in 1987.
Haitham Hamid
President & CEO

Dr. Hamid has over 25 years of experience covering all aspects of exploration, development, production and management in the petroleum and natural gas industry. He has worked on world class projects in Canada, USA, Iraq, Yemen, Egypt and Cameroon. Dr. Hamid was Manager, Geophysics with Madison PetroGas Ltd., up to its successful merger with Sea Dragon Energy Inc. Dr. Hamid previously held senior technical positions with Nexen Inc and Husky Energy. Dr. Hamid was also the CEO of Axial Exploration LTD, up until successfully acquired by Westlake Energy Group.
He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Mosul, Iraq in 1992 and 1996 respectively; M.Sc. in Seismology from the University of Saskatchewan, and his Ph.D. in Geophysics from the University of Calgary.
Nabeel Azeez

Mr. Azeez is a Project Management Professional (PMP), with more than 28 years of International and Canadian experiences in Engineering, Project Management, Business Development, and Strategic Planning.

Nabeel worked over 17 years in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates & the Gulf area for companies like Tebodin, Bilfinger and Parsons, where he was involved in delivering large scale infrastructure projects. Mr. Azeez was also a member of the board of directors for Axial Exploration LTD, up until successfully acquired by Westlake Energy Group.
Nabeel is a qualified civil engineer, graduated from the University of Mosul, Iraq and completed an Executive MBA from SZABIST, in Dubai, UAE, he is a P.Eng. member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
Tom Mueller
Director

Mr. Mueller has over 35 years of business and investor experience in setting strategic plans, creating operational and market focus, and developing organizational resources in industries undergoing consolidation, growth and technological change. Most recently, Tom was a major shareholder and President of Kilowatts Design Company Inc., an electrical and control systems EPC focused on the Western Canadian Oil & Gas industry market.

Prior thereto, Mr. Mueller was President and a shareholder of Tycor International Inc., a company providing power quality solutions to North American industrial and commercial market segments. Mr. Mueller was also a member of the board of directors for Axial Exploration LTD, up until successfully acquired by Westlake Energy Group.
Mr. Mueller holds an engineering degree from Queen’s University and a MBA from Dalhousie University.
Robert Verbuck

Robert Verbuck is the chairman of the Board, Avenue Living Real Estate Core Trust. He is also the Managing Partner – Western Canada of DS Lawyers Canada LLP, a leading national mid-market corporate law firm.
His practice focuses on corporate and securities law with an emphasis on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. Mr. Verbuck has over 20 years of experience advising start-ups and emerging companies across various industries.
He serves as a Director, Corporate Secretary and Counsel to select private and public enterprises that he is passionate about, in the real estate, energy, agriculture and health product sectors.
Mr. Verbuck holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western University and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Toronto and is a member of the Law Societies of Alberta and Ontario.
Devnam Mangat

Dr Mangat qualified as dental surgeon from University College London and then undertook further training in the Department of Periodontology at the Eastman Dental Institute.
A career in General Dental practice followed. As the Clinical Cluster Lead with a UK based DSO (Oasis Dental Care) the emphasis was on practice acquisition, efficiency of delivery and profitability with the group eventually growing to over 200 clinic locations.
In 2010 and after moving to Canada, Dev joined ROI Corporation (dental brokerage) where he spent ten years providing advice on the acquisition and sale of dental practices with considerable input in how to maximize clinic level EBITDA.

Having been involved extensively in clinical audit/operations and then as a Broker, Dev joined Passion Dental Group as EVP Integrations/ Operations in 2021 and spent three years in mergers and acquisitions.
Amar Ahmed

Amar has successfully delivered mission-critical programs across North America and the Gulf region, demonstrating expertise in project governance, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and cross-functional leadership. His global perspective and industry versatility make him a valuable asset in high-impact project environments.
